The Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology (WIST), as well as the Soil and Waste Resources discipline, reside within the College of Natural Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Offering hands-on experiences in the laboratory and in the field, Soil and Waste Resources trains the next generation of professionals in soil science, soil and land management, and waste management. WIST complements this work by providing research, laboratory services, and education for business and industry. As an entrepreneurial arm of the University, WIST leads collaborations and brings innovation from the University to the private sector.
